In the age of ChatGPT, will anyone even believe I wrote this on my own? And honestly—does it even matter?
My thoughts, opinions, and ideas are mine. If AI helps me say them better—so they flow smoothly, land clearly, and connect more deeply—then I’m all in. Yes, dear AI, please me.
Now, the real story: I stumbled upon this blog after 14 years. Fourteen! That’s a whole teenager's worth of time. For over a decade, I had completely forgotten about it. Understandable, considering everything that happened in my personal life. Life flipped overnight. My career took a detour. I went back to school. Got married. Had kids one after another—like a cow, honestly.
But here I am, 40 (yes, the ripe old age of 40), and I’ve finally come back to myself. I’m currently working in HR, a certified clinical hypnotherapist, and a part-time yoga teacher (more recreational and occasional than anything else). So yes, I’d say I’ve grown. I’ve evolved. And dare I say, progressed spiritually? Ha.
Today, I believe in:
Synchronicities
Hidden messages
The power of the mind
Taking breaks
Calling shit as shit
Releasing emotions
Putting yourself first (because you matter)
Kids changing your life (and driving you mad)
Being independent
Helping others
Self-respect
Boundaries
Saying no (still learning)
Forgiving your parents
Accepting that everyone’s vulnerable
...and the list keeps growing.
Basically, I’ve grown up. Though in my head? Still 28.
So watch this space for some life-changing content. Real stories. Raw moments. And hopefully, a few insights that make you feel less alone.
Thanks for reading. And welcome (back) to my journey.
